This guide will show you how to connect your Verifone EFTPOS terminal to Bustle, so payment can be sent straight from the till to the terminal for processing.

Before you begin, youâll need:
One Verifone EFTPOS terminal for each Bustle till (iPad)
Your Bustle tills (iPads)
Your EFTPOS terminal and iPad connected to the same Wi-Fi network
Access to Bustle Hub (hub.heybustle.com)
Note: You will need to contact your Verifone provider in this process.
Note: Verifone Errors
We can help with connecting your EFTPOS terminal to Bustle and checking your Bustle settings. However, if you see an error while setting up or using the terminal - including an EFTPOS error shown in Bustle - you'll need to contact your EFTPOS provider. They manage the terminal and are best placed to troubleshoot the error.
1. From the Bustle Hub (hub.heybustle.com) select your integration type
In the Hub, head to Setup > iPad Setup
Use the Eftpos Integration selector to select your provider - Either Verifone VX-Link or Verifone VCloud (If unsure, reach out to your provider).

Head back to the iPad - In the Bustle iPad till app go to: Settings > Sync Menu.
After syncing is finished, fully close and restart the Bustle iPad till app. You'll see an "EFTPOS" option appear in your iPad settings.

2. Get your Verifone terminal ready for Bustle
Before connecting your terminal in Bustle, call your EFTPOS provider and let them know you want to connect your Verifone terminal to Bustle - mentioning that it is an iPad till system.
Set the terminal up to connect to an iPad till over your local network.
Set the terminal to a Static IP address in Vericentre (this is the verifone setup tool).
Tell you how to find your terminal's IP address or serial number - you'll need this when setting it up in Bustle.
If your provider needs further technical details, read this out:
The terminal needs to be set up with an IP interface listening on port 20001. This is done by creating a record in Vericentre, the TMS (Terminal Management System) and downloading it to the terminal.
3. In the till connect your Verifone terminal to Bustle
On your Bustle iPad till, go to Settings > EFTPOS > Connect.
Next, enter the details for your terminal
Replace any existing text in the field with your terminal's IP address or Serial Number.
VX-Link: Enter the terminal's IP address.
VCloud: Enter the Serial Number (S/N) shown on the back of the terminal.
Press Continue. If everything is connected correctly, you'll see a success message.
Give it a quick test
Press the Settings button in the top-right corner, then select Logon under the Verifone Admin Functions.
Your terminal will run a quick check and print a message confirming whether it was successful.

Verifone terminals have integrated tipping and surcharge - This is where any tip or surcharge totals from the terminal are recorded in your cash up. This should be switched on by default (contact Verifone if not) and you'll need to be on Bustle Till iPad app version 5.0 or greater.
