Custom reports allow you to run your own reports based on items, mods or your own tags. You can view all sales, combine or compare a few items, mods or tags & view by total sales $ or by count. You can even save your reports by bookmarking the address (URL) in the browser once you get the settings just right.

To get started, head to Reports > Custom Reports

Reporting On

Select what you want to report on:

Orders - A simple report displaying totals across a date range for all items

Items - Report on items by themselves (no mods)

Mods - Report on your required and optional mod use

Tags - Display your tagged item totals (no mods)

View Data

You can view the report results by total value (Gross) or switch it over to number ordered (Quantity).

When you select Items, Mods or Tags, you have some extra selections to choose from...

Selected Items

Click the field to open up the slide out, drop down the Category of your choosing and tick the items you wish to report on

When you're ready to run the report, scroll down to the bottom of the window and press the Build Custom Report button.

Report Type

Compare Sales - Say you wanted to look at how many flat whites vs. cappuccinos you sold over a time period. This report is your go to!

Combined Sales - Say you wanted to add a few coffees together and track their performance over a date range. Use a combined report!

Select your Date Range

The report will load for today by default but use the date picker to select the range you're after. Note that the export button sits to the right if you are after a .CSV file.

Grouped By

Depending on the length of your custom report time period, you will see some different selections. Here are the groupings allowed for each time period.

Day reports - 15min, 30min, 1 hour

Week Reports - Day

Month Reports - Day, or 7 day blocks.

Quarterly reports - Day, 7 day, or 30 day blocks.

Yearly Reports - Day, 7 day, 30 day or 90 day blocks.

Custom Length - Will default to grouped by a year, but select how you want it to display in the Grouped By drop down.

When your date range is selected your results will display on screen as a graph at the top followed by the raw data below.

Saving your Report

Now you have set up your report just the way you like it, there is a way to save it. Simply copy the URL at the top of your browser window and use this URL going forward (we suggest bookmarking it in your browser).

Once you load up the page, you can change the date range as required.
