Recommendations before updating
If your iPad can’t update to iOS 14, you won’t be able to upgrade or reinstall Bustle Till. In that case, the iPad has reached the end of its run and will need to be retired and replaced.
Turn off auto updates on your iPads, and update when the new version of Bustle Till is available in the App store for all of them.
Ideally, run updates after service - when you have time to fix any issues.
How to update Bustle
For most cases, updating the Bustle Till app is as easy as updating any app on your phone or iPad. Simply head to the Apple App store...
and locate the update (this will differ depending on the age of the iPad).
Locate/search Bustle and press the Update or Download button.
How will the update install?
When the upgrade is running you may see a Bustle loading screen. It should only take 15-30 seconds to complete.
After the process has completed successfully, Bustle Till will open. If there are any further actions required, you will see an exclamation mark displayed on the device status icon.
Tap on the icon for further information and follow the instructions.
For those with automatic app updates on (not recommended):
Bustle will install in the background some point over the next week. If you do have any issues (kicked out to login screen or unable to log in) please follow the delete process below.
Whoops, we have an issue after the release. What do I do?
As long as your iPad is running iOS 14 or later, you can manually install Bustle. If the loading screen hangs for more than a minute (or if you hit any other issues), a quick delete and reinstall of Bustle usually fixes it and only takes a couple of minutes. Follow the instructions below...
If issues continue, please get in touch straight away through the support messenger and we’ll be right with you to get you working again.
