I'm back! How do I get Bustle working again?

Back for the new season or coming off Hold? How do I get my Bustle subscription up and running.

First thing - it's GREAT to see you back! Now, let's get Bustle up and running again!

Step 1 - Log into your Bustle hub

Head to heybustle.com and hit the Login button.
Any password issues? Give it a reset - or get in touch with support using the messenger or email hello@heybustle.com


Step 2 - Get your subscription rolling

  • Click the Settings cog at the top right of the site then select Subscription and then Manage Your Subscription . (Or there may be a button that takes you straight there from the login page.)

  • On this page you select how often you want to pay, your base plan, and any add-ons. 

  • Double check you have selected correctly and press the Let's Do It button at the bottom of the page.

  • Enter in your credit card details when prompted and press the pay button to activate.

Now, you can update your menu and any settings to get rolling again.

Step 3 - Check your iPads can still work with Bustle

Do you have any older iPads that cannot update to at least Apple's operating system version iOS 14? If so, these iPads will need to be replaced. Apple will no longer allow you to download Bustle on this iPad. Bustle also needs iPads to be running at least iOS 14 to work properly - From November 3, 2023 you will need to be running at the very least iOS 14. Older iPads have been failing to run Bustle and usually break in the busiest of times. So we strongly suggest getting ahead of this and upgrading to a newer iPad.

Step 4 - Delete old versions of Bustle from your iPad

If you have any compatible iPads still running Bustle Till (or an old version of our older app - posBoss), it's time for a fresh start - do a delete and reinstall. You won't lose any data by doing this. Don't log in at this point as your subscription is not yet active.

Step 5 - Log in to Bustle on the iPads

Now that your subscription is active again, you can log into the Bustle Till iPad app on your iPad/s.


Step 6 - Cash up your iPad/s

This step is recommended, in case there are any orders from last time/season that weren't cashed up on last service. A great way to start fresh!

Step 7 - Test, update menu, sync and make some $$$

Get set up in training mode and check the system - Printers, eftpos etc. Check what to test here:

Update your menu and settings if needed, and make sure to sync menu on all iPads - any new menu Sections/Pages will need to be added to your printers for order dockets.

Reach out to Bustle support if you get stuck, but otherwise...
