How to set up a Star TSP143IIIWLAN Wi-fi printer to work with Bustle

NB: Wi-fi printers need a commercial router with a very stable and robust Wi-fi network to work effectively. If you have any concerns or questions - please get in touch with us through the support channel


To set up your Star TSP143IIIWLAN Wifi  printer ready for configuration in Bustle, please do the following:

  1. Turn the Star Wi-Fi printer on. 

  2. Hold the Pair button on back of printer until blue light starts flashing (2 secs).

  3. Push the WPS button on your router.

    1. If successful: The printer will print a Network configuration docket. I

    2. f not successful: You will see a printout displaying ‘no connection’. 

  4. If you get the no connection printout, try steps 2 & 3 again until successful. If you are unable to connect the printer to your network you may need to contact Star Micronics support for your country.

Optional Extra: For extra stability you can download the driver and set a static IP as per Star’s instructions that come in the printer box.


When configuring the printer for Bustle

Here are the specifics for wi-fi printer setup, and for the full printer configuration process and explanation of the settings, hit the button at the bottom of this article.

  • On the Bustle Till App, press the Settings button (top right)

  • Select Printers > Add Printer

  • Click Active to ON

  • Press Printer and select Star Micronics TSP143III Ethernet

  • Press Search for Printers

Your printer will appear like below when found:


Permission for Bustle to access your network

While setting up you printer or printing for the first time after a reinstall of Bustle, you may me prompted to allow access for Bustle to your local network. Click OK or you will not be able to print from Bustle.
