Purchasing a Voucher
Once you’re live, you can share your direct voucher link, or customers can buy vouchers straight from your Bustle Online menu.
Your Bustle Online menu will include a new Vouchers section that loads your voucher page.
When a customer clicks this section - or uses your direct link - they’ll land on your voucher page.
Customers pick a voucher amount, then choose who it’s for:
Someone else
An unknown recipient
Themselves
They’ll enter a few quick details, add an optional message, and tap Add Voucher to Cart.
From here, they can keep shopping to add more vouchers, or head to Checkout Now.
The Bustle Pay screen will load so they can enter their card details and complete the purchase. They’ll then see a checkout success screen.
Emails are automatically sent:
To the recipient - with their voucher link
To the purchaser - with a receipt
Clicking View Your Voucher takes the recipient to their voucher page. Their message appears there, and they can tap to reveal their unique voucher code.
Redeeming a Voucher
Vouchers can be redeemed online at payment, or in the Bustle Till app from the Payment screen.
Redeeming Online
Customer adds items to their cart as normal.
At the Complete Your Order page, they tap Redeem a Voucher.
They’re taken to a page where they:
Paste their unique code
Tap Look Up Voucher
If the voucher is active, they’ll see:
The remaining balance
A Use This Voucher button
Depending on the voucher amount:
If the order total exceeds the voucher balance:
They’re taken to the usual Bustle Pay screen to pay the remainder.
If the voucher covers the full amount:
They can tap Pay Now $0.00
The order is placed and the voucher balance adjusts automatically.
Redeeming in the Bustle Till App
On the Payment screen, tap Vouchers.
A window appears with a voucher code selector.
The code is made up of:
Three words
A three-digit number
The barista selects:
The first word,
Then the second word,
Then the third word,
And finally enters the three digits
(This looks up the voucher.)
If the voucher is valid, they can tap Apply Voucher to Tab.
Depending on the remaining balance:
If the tab is greater than the voucher amount:
Bustle takes them to the Payment screen to settle the remainder by card or cash.
If the voucher covers the whole amount:
The tab completes with no payment required.
