If you want to print double order dockets or if you want to print two different dockets (1 docket for food and 1 for drinks) on the same printer, it's a nice and simple process.
Please note: This process is only available on Medium or Large Bustle plans. Small plans are only able to print one docket.
Here's how it's done:
Add the same printer to the Bustle iPad app a second time so it appears twice in your printer list.
Then:
Assign different menu sections to each printer for separate dockets (for example, food and coffee).
Assign the same menu sections to both printers to print two copies of each docket.
Step-by-step
On the Bustle iPad Till app, go to Settings > Printers.
We’re going to create a second printer setup and connect it to the same Network address as the printer you want to copy. You can then choose which menu sections should print from this new setup.
Select the printer you want to copy and note down its network address.
Press Create Printer and give the new printer a name that makes sense, such as Coffee Orders or Food Orders.
Switch Printer enabled on.
Select the printer brand from the list.
Press Search for printers and choose the network address of the same printer you noted down earlier.
Make sure Print receipts is switched off on this second one.
Press Prints order dockets for and select the menu sections you want included on this docket.
Run a test print.
If you take orders from more than one iPad, you’ll need to repeat these steps on each one.
